Dr. Eric W. Herman, M.D.
Dr. Eric W. Herman, M.D. graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo and went on to earn his medical doctorate from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his internal medicine internship with the United States Public Health Service and his dermatology residency at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital, both in New York City. Dr. Herman founded Herman Dermatology in 1980.
Dr. Herman is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also the President of the North Jersey Dermatological Society and on the Executive Board of the Dermatological Society of New Jersey. Dr. Herman is a clinical instructor of dermatology at Columbia University where he devotes his time teaching residents as well as the Chief of Dermatology at Palisades Medical Center. He enjoys his time outside of the office biking, traveling, collecting stamps and playing with his three grandchildren.
